Hey guys, join me as I make beef jerky on our pit boss smoker. We’ve made jerky before but never on the pit boss join me to see how it turns out. #pitboss #beefjerky
Beef Jerky Marinade
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce,
1 cup soy  sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1 Tablespoon spoon  course black pepper
1 Teaspoon red pepper flakes
3 - 4 pounds lean beef of eye roast
Start by trimming fat cap off of your roast. Then slice meat against the grain about a 1/4 inch thick pieces. 
Mix up your marinade and then place the meat either in a large bowl or a Ziploc bag and pour marinade in on the beef mixing it well. Make sure all meat is saturated with your marinade. Cover your bowl or zip up your bag and place in the refrigerator overnight or at least 8 to 12 hours.
After your meat is done, marinating slightly pat meat dry before placing on your smoker racks preheat smoker to 170° continue smoking anywhere from 6 to 7 hours. Any leftover meat can be sealed in an airtight container or plastic baggie and stored in your refrigerator.
