I feel like there is so much still to be studied on this instrument. I am able to get a lot of sounds out of it for sure and I really dig the deep bass. I spent a lot of time just exploring today before deciding to try We Can't All Be Alive at the Same Time at around 12:45 or so. I don't know that I've played it on a non 9-string guitar before but I think it works so well on the Silvertone 1448. The problem I was having on the 9 Strings was more about keeping a consistent level between the regular and the octave strings. It would mess with the phrasing if it came back in weird way on the repeat. This just sounded perfect. Gotta play this one again on this guitar....

I'm playing the Silvertone 1448 into a 9V adapter powered Thank You, Guitar pedal into the Ampeg 810. Left channel audio is coming from the 810 mic'd with the EV RE20 into an in-line compressor and the right channel audio is the output of the Thank You, Guitar pedal into a JDI direct box into a hardware limiter into the camera.
