This video is a presentation of my new project to try and replicate as faithfully as possible the physics, gameplay, and systems of the Donkey Kong Country games for SNES, starting with the first title. Throughout the video, I also share interesting facts that I found regarding technical aspects and differences between the three games.
My main goal with all this is to study these games in more depth and create levels that I can share with the community, gather feedback, and improve the engine so that it might eventually become a complete game!
As I have news, I will bring simpler videos demonstrating the progress and maybe even playable demos for you to try out.
