The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority is taking new steps to prevent graffiti at bus shelters. The KCATA is introducing brand new graffiti-resistant shelters. These new shelters are made up of a mesh metal, replacing the previous plexiglass walls, which were more prone to graffiti. The material of these new walls is supposed to make it more difficult to vandalize.
