Featuring the legendary Khadija El Warzazia, produced by Oussma menay and co-produced by Morocco’s lead producer DJ VAN,
the track blends traditional Moroccan vocals and percussion with contemporary production in a sound that is both delicate and daring. The single is accompanied by a music video, directed and produced by Abdelilah Belam, bringing the song’s movement and spirit to life visually.
Originally written by Albert Suissa, the mythical composer behind “Sidi Hbibi” and “Atar Ya lAtar”, especialy for the iconic Raymonde el bidaouia, this forgotten Moroccan classic is reimagined through a modern Marrakshi lens. Vulnerable yet celebratory, the song turns heartbreak into rhythm and reconnects past and present, carrying feminine resilience, heritage, and joy onto the dancefloor.
“Dak lHbib” is a love song for dancing alone in your room, for smiling with a quiet ache in your chest, for remembering and moving forward. It is a tender, festive tribute to Moroccan memory and modernity.
