When you arrive on the seemingly deserted colony of Freedom's Progress, you will soon realize you're not alone. A group of quarians (with your former squadmate Tali'Zorah among them) will be searching for another quarian who is on his Pilgrimage there.
Depending on your initial dialogue choices, Tali will react to Shepard differently throughout the whole conversation. If you did not give her the geth data back in Mass Effect 1 or simply chose not to remind her of it, she will act a lot less friendly towards Shepard and be more distrustful of their actions.
