Netgear problems! Wi-Fi extender not working with spectrum router?

I had this problem with my Netgear ac750 Wi-Fi extender not working with spectrum router. Turns out it was spectrum routers firmware. Hoping to save some of y’all some trouble if your having the same issue. Since then I have moved on to the tenda nova mesh Wi-Fi system. I made a quick video on that setup and a separate video on the app settings if you want to check it out.
