i finally did it! the video youve been waiting for, the DUAL BATTERY! i decided to piece my own system together rather than buying one off the shelf.

one reason was obviously cost, a bolt in dual battery system (actually, anything bolt in for land cruisers) are EXPENSIVE!!! second reason, because the 100 series usues a standard (non variating voltage) alternator, it doesnt need a BCDC charger for the auxillary battery.

obviously if you decide to run a AGM as your auxillary battery, then the BCDC charger makes sense, but i decided to go with the most basic setup (lead acid) so the alternator will have no issues charging both batteries.
