Steam Locomotives Rescue Diesel! - 2025 Railroad Class at Roots of Motive Power

Описание: Excitement awaits as we journey to Roots of Motive Power in Willits, California, for their 2025 Railroad Safety Class!

Four historic steam and diesel locomotives are operational during this June weekend: Port of Olympia 2-6-2T No. 2 ("Poo Two"), Mountain Quarries 0-4-0ST No. 202, Arcata and Mad River 44-tonner No. 104, and Simpson Timber Co. S-3 No. 600.

We'll look on as the equipment is used in the class's interactive exercises, including switching and train operations. When the GE 44-tonner breaks down, the two steam engines are called to action to rescue the stranded diesel and return it to the shop in a rare turn of events. Plenty of whistle-blowing, wheel-slipping action awaits in this small sampling of scenes from the 2025 Railroad Safety Class; enjoy, and God bless!
