We take a tour of the ancient roman city of Trier formally Augusta Treverorum, this is the oldest city or town in Germany and has thousands of years of history.
Starting from the Porta Nigra (the black gate) we take a walking tour explaining the historical importance of some of Trier's oldest and most significant buildings. On this tour, we see the market square or hauptmarkt in all the beauty of the Christmas markets, the Trier Cathedral, Aula Palatina or Basilica of Constantine, the electoral palace of trier, the Imperial Baths, the Trier Amphitheater, and the Roman Bridge.
