No coercive action against Arnab Goswami for 3 weeks, orders Supreme Court

Описание: In a victory for NBF president and Republic TV editor in chief Arnab Goswami, the Supreme Court today granted him three-weeks' protection from any coercive action against him by police in connection with alleged defaming of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi.
A Bench led by Justice DY Chandrachud, which heard the case through video conferencing said Goswami can use the time to apply for anticipatory bail.
Meanwhile, folowing the Supreme Court directive, Goswami thanked the apex court for upholding his right to report.
