Batman's been on my mind a lot lately. I apologize for the environment. I just threw a blanket down, shhh. I'll remake it one day when a better opportunity comes. I won't be using any fancy origami terms, "fold this side down, turn it long ways" works for me. Sorry for the awkward instructions! I'm trying to make it as easy to follow as possible.
When I was a kid, my dad was actually the one to teach me this. We would go to the theatre over and over to see Batman Forever and Batman and Robin constantly. And I mean, OVER and over again. I was born in 1991, so when Batman was in theatre, I must've been around five? Seven? And at home, I still even watch Batman on VHS, so it's always been a big part of me.
So, naturally he taught me how to make the batplane.. or, his version of the Batjet. There's probably tons of 'awesome' ones out there, but this one is important to me because of the personal nostalgic memory. So I'd like to share that. I used to make it whenever I was stuck somewhere and bored, like showing off at school, or babysitting.
It's a hit with kids!
