How to fix a P0157 Code: Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2, Sensor 2)
The oxygen sensors measure the oxygen content in the exhaust gases after they leave the combustion process of the engine. They also monitor the catalytic converter.
A P0157 code is set when the computer (ECM/PCM) detects low or no voltage on the Bank 2 Sensor 2 oxygen sensor.
Common causes of a P0157 code include a bad oxygen sensor, wiring issues, exhaust leaks, and a damaged oxygen sensor connector.
In some cases, if there is an engine issue and it is running lean, it may trigger a P0157 Code.
Possible Causes of a P0157 Code:
Faulty 02 Sensor Bank-2 Sensor-2
Wiring - Open Short - Blown Fuse
Exhaust Leak or Engine Problem
