Doll House Restoration Part 3

Описание: We are painting the outside of the doll house and finally getting the roof completely restored. It does not sound like much but it sure was time intense. We just love how it is turning out so far, thank you for coming along on this adventure with us! 😊


Items needed for the project:
• Wooden doll house
• Cleaning supplies (I used clean cloth, spray cleaner, clean water, Q-tips)
• Tools – pliers, hammer, small scrubbers (I used old toothbrushes) and small screwdrivers
• Paint
• Resource materials for architectural information and color schemes
• Wood Glue
• Painter’s tape
• Clamps

Directions:
• Gather all materials
• Prep table for painting
• Give all the surfaces thorough cleaning
• Next, paint the exterior walls allowing dry time between colors
• Allow it all to dry thoroughly
• Glue on shingles (becoming a mater puzzler in the process 😊)
• Stain the shingles
• Apply coat of polyurethane to the shingles
• Allow to dry thoroughly
