Touch TV series: A Song For Someone (music video)

I watched the first three episodes of Touch on a plane from Sydney to New York, and I was hooked right away. A series based on the subtle connections between people across the globe, Touch is convincingly written with amazing acting and well-developed characters. From start to end, even as the style of show changed, it remains one of my favourite series to date. If not my favourite!

Heard one of the songs from the excellent new Vertical Horizon album 'Echoes from the Underground', and this video was the result :) I'm sad to hear that Touch probably won't be coming back for a third season - PLEASE RECONSIDER, FOX! T_T

I was looking up whether the actual name of the VH song was 'Song for Someone' or 'A Song For Someone' and found this quote on their FB page:

"'Song For Someone' originally came from my experiences performing for the troops in various corners of the world, but as I wrote it I realized it's about everyone. It's based upon a quote from Plato that Neil Peart turned me on to, 'Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.'" - Matt Scannell

Hopefully you can see why I felt this song was so suitable in the context of Touch. Kudos to the writers, producers and actors of Touch for an amazing and meaningful series!
