Somewhere along the way, the church’s version of God became more about fear, control, and dogma than the simple truth Jesus spoke: love, forgiveness, compassion.

If you’ve ever felt weighed down by religion, if you’ve ever questioned why God is portrayed like a cosmic warden instead of a loving Father, I invite you to listen. You don’t have to agree with me. But this is why I believe walking with Jesus doesn’t mean walking inside the walls of a church.
