This anonymous piano arrangement was quite difficult to research. YouTube user putrid11 has kindly supplied the following information on the piece: “This is a solo piano arrangement by someone other than Nevin. It predates the 'Sketchbook' by a year. Nevin's other so-titled 'Berceuse' is indeed from the 'Sketchbook'. It is Op.2, No.5, and was composed as a solo piece. 'A Bedtime Song' has a beautifully evocative text by Lillian Dynevor Rice.”
