Описание: This is Buffalo Bur (Solanum rostratum), and although this may look like some kind of crazy mutant watermelon, it is actually a nightshade more closely related to tomatoes, potatoes, and peppers. But don't try to eat it! This plant can actually be very toxic!! While the leaves of this plant do resemble those of a watermelon, the flowers end up producing spiny burs instead of juicy delicious fruit; so, there is no part of this plant that looks edible to humans. However, it can definitely be toxic to livestock such as cattle, goats, and sheep.
