Episode 11: Raising the Shaping Stand (How I built my reclaimed wood surfboard shaping stand)

Описание: This episode is all about how I built my shaping stand. It's kind of a tutorial or how-to. Though, building a surfboard shaping stand is not exactly rocket science. So if you thought the last 10 videos were boring, you defo will think this one is! That's even if you watched through the whole vids :-P Anyway, I built the Klehkoot surfboard shaping stand out of reclaimed wood from some of the workshop's old framing timbers that had to be removed. The cool thing is the wood is super old. It's very hard and very old. So old, that it could even be as much as 100 years based on an old beer bottle label I found inside a wall cavity of the building. The assumption is that the label was probably put in there when the walls were closed up ages ago. In the video I talk about some concepts I followed. It's not the best, but it works for me.
