Today we will shoot out some Swedish Death Metal pedals in my collection. The idea here is to see if the Trem-o-Verb can hang with the Swedish Death Metal Tone. I also threw in some bonus with the effects loop engaged. Here, I use a "Swedish Style" eq curve, but with a few more traditional pedals in front to see how close the Boss GE-7 can get to the classic HM2 sound.

This Heavy Earth - Cream EQ
Boss HM2
Boss DS1
Boss MT2 Metal Zone
Boss DS-2 Turbo Distortion
ProCo Rat
Straight In + Loop EQ Engaged (Boss GE-7)
Joyo EQ + Loop EQ Engaged (Boss GE-7)
Ibanez TS9 + Loop EQ Engaged (Boss GE-7)
ProCo Rat + Loop EQ Engaged (Boss GE-7)
Joyo EQ + loop EQ Engaged (less 1k)
Orange Channel Mix 00:42
Red Channel Mix 8:21
Orange Channel Solo 16:06
Red Channel Solo 23:46
After going through this test, I think I have determined that I need to modify my effects loop... Let me know if you would be interested in seeing that process.
