Cable Theft TV commercial PSA - Sep 2000

Описание: Here's a Public Service Announcement that aired during a commercial break on Nickelodeon in September of 2000. It's all about cable theft, because, apparently... It's a crime the way some people watch television.

I have no idea how this technology was supposed to work, but it was back in the days of analogue TV. I'm guessing that it was basically a de-scrambler for exclusive pay channels, which only worked if you already had an existing cable hookup. I never heard about these in real life, only on the TV commercials warning against it, lol.
