This video shows a landing & take-off with a Boeing 737-800 at Dortmund Airport (DTM/EDLW) in Germany. The airport has a very short runway for airline operations and the landing performance can be limiting depending on the actual weather conditions. The Landing Distance Available (LDA) is 1700m for runway 06. Landing in Dortmund in our company is a CAPTAINS ONLY landing and we always have to use a minimum Auto brake 3 setting and FLAPS40 to land. On sunny days like this there can be a lot of VFR traffic around as well.
