In this video, I tackle the fan error code "3-10-0" on my Hypertherm Powermax 45xp Plasma Cutter. This machine has been a reliable workhorse for over 5 years of daily use, but recently this error has started appearing, especially during long cutting sessions. Living in Queensland, Australia, where temperatures regularly hit the mid-30s (°C) with high humidity, I suspect the weather is playing a role but it used to work just fine.
The machine will work for 10–15 minutes before the plasma arc cuts out, displaying the error "3-10-0" which is a fan error. Restarting the power supply temporarily fixes the issue, but the error returns shortly after.
