The drive from Viljoenskroon to Vredefort was delightful. The clear blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds made the journey incredibly scenic. Exploring the town was a treat, especially walking through the stunning Dutch Reformed Church and admiring the historic Hartbeeshuisie on its grounds. Another highlight was meeting the friendly folks at the Bowls Club and having the chance to roll a couple of bowls, it was such a fun experience. Visiting Vredefort was truly memorable.
