Youth who are well-rooted can’t easily be knocked off course. They stand firmer and are clear about their importance in the community. We spent time exploring the history and culture of Tigray. We explored their individual value and collective value. We learn healthy coping techniques in times of distress. And we bring in elders to encourage intergenerational healing.
