This is a phase 3 of my year-long capstone project: https://somach.vercel.app
In this video, I demonstrate a working Electromyography (EMG) sensor setup that reads the electrical signals from my forearm muscles.
By simply clenching my fist, I can control an LED light. The laptop screen shows the real-time data from the sensors, visualizing the muscle activity as a graph.
This was a challenging but incredibly rewarding project, involving sourcing components, wiring up a NodeMCU, and a lot of debugging.
This is the first step towards creating hands-free control systems and exploring the world of bio-hacking and Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI).
Let me know in the comments what I should try to control next!
