The Cleveland Division of Police has announced a "joint investigation" is happening today -- Monday, March 2 -- but did not provide specific details on what the investigation is about.
Here's the full statement we've received from Cleveland police: For awareness, The Cleveland Division of Police, US Marshals Service and FBI Cleveland will be conducting a joint investigation today near the area of E. 65th Street. There is no threat to public safety. I am unable to share additional details at this time but will advise if additional information becomes available.
When 3News pressed police for additional information, we received the following response: Aside from above details, the Cleveland Division of Police has not released further information about this joint investigation. Media outlets reporting further, have not received that information from an official capacity from CDP.
