I’m jumping into EverQuest: Project Quarm as a brand new EQ player and starting my journey from scratch. I went in with as little knowledge as possible (but used some wikis to keep my sanity)
In this first episode, I spawn in, get my bearings, and knock out the starter quest — then immediately realize I’ve been farming the wrong rockhopper hides (classic EverQuest moment). After figuring out where the correct hoppers actually are, I head back out, finish the second quest, and start getting a feel for early combat, exploration, and old-school MMO pacing.
