Luxury Hill (German: Luxushügel) is the oldest upper class suburb in central Windhoek,
located south of Klein Windhoek and east of Windhoek Central area. Maerua
Mall is the large shopping center, located next to Luxury Hill.
Luxury Hill is home to many expensive villas and old mansions and has
a magnificent views over central Windhoek.

Together with Klein Windhoek, Ludwigsdorf and Olympia, Luxury Hill is the
most affluent suburb of Namibia's capital. Rough boundaries of Luxury Hill
are Robert Mugabe Avenue, Sam Nujoma Avenue, Nelson Mandela Avenue and Jan Jonker Road.
Luxury Hill sights include "Three Castles of Windhoek": Heinitzburg, Schwerinsburg and Sanderburg, all designed by well-known German architect Willy Sander in 1910s.
Main streets are Burg, Chateau, Kasteel, Eadie, Anton Lubowski, Heinitzburg, Sanderburg.

Anton Theodor Eberhard August Lubowski (3 February 1952 – 12 September 1989)
was a Namibian anti-apartheid activist and advocate. He was a
member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO).
In 1989 he was assassinated by operatives of South Africa’s Civil Cooperation Bureau.
In 2015 he was declared a National Hero and his body reburied at the National Heroes' Acre outside Windhoek.
