Jamie Orr's Beginner Texas 2-Step Class at the RW Black Center in Hanover, NH.
May & June 2012.
1) Basic
2) Single Prep turn from closed position (Lady turns right)
3) Double Prep turns from closed position
4) Open to promenade (open on 2nd slow, quick, quick)
5) ½ Pivot turn (as a couple) in closed position
6) Man dances backward
7) 2nd half of Pivot turn so man is again going forward
8) Full (360 degree) pivot turn in closed position
9) Promenade to cuddle (aka basket)
10) Cuddle turns (end with 1 ½ turns to get back to closed)
11) Promenade to Shadow position
12) Shadow turns (aka Wingnuts turns) end w/ 1 ½ turns back to closed
13) Prep turn to hammerlock pinwheel (1/2 a rotation). When follower is facing line of dance, give her an inside double turn back to closed.
