Join us on a journey to the South Peak of Montara Mountain in El Granada, California. What started as a trek through vibrant, yellow wildflower fields turned into a somber discovery deep in the coastal brush.

We’re exploring the site of the 1991 crash of the U.S. Navy RH-53D Sea Stallion helicopter, call sign 'Thunder Bear 621.' This video is a tribute to the three courageous crew members who lost their lives on this mountainside:
