‘Colored Silence’ is an audiovisual performance based on free improvisation and its correlation with the absence of drafting in music, drawing, and life itself. It is inspired by the poems of T.S. Eliot and the sounds of nature and the city, and the quietest keyboard instrument – clavichord 🤍
Indeed, the clavichord here is not so quiet. This heavy instrument model is far from the refined sound of a historical copy and lacks the delicacy suitable for the music of the early Classical period. Yet, its coarse tone creates a dark, mysterious atmosphere of a night in a haunted forest 🌚🌝
