Ender's Game premiere: Asa Butterfield and Hailee Steinfeld hit the red carpet

Stars of new movie Ender's Game, Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld and Harrison Ford, hit the red carpet in LA for its premiere. The film, based on a novel, follows an exceptionally intelligent child, Ender, played by Butterfield, who is sent to train to fight against future alien invasions.

"I think for me, what's really helped, is living in London has really helped me to stay very distant from all the pressures of Hollywood and in the film there is quite a bit of pressure put on the character," he said.

Steinfeld, who shone in an off-the-shoulder white dress adorned with red lips, described how the film celebrated young people, saying: "The way that they are able to handle themselves so gracefully, it really focuses on that. The way that they handle it is really incredible and I love that that's really focused on." Report by Sophie Foster.
