Got the call at 9 PM on Christmas night to head out and do some plowing and salting. There wasn’t much snow on the ground, but the wind had other plans. ❄️💨
Blowing snow made for some pretty rough visibility, and what should’ve been a short shift turned into an all-night run until 5 AM. Even without heavy accumulation, drifting and whiteout conditions kept things interesting.
By the time morning rolled around, the wind was still howling, so the day shift took over to finish things off. Just another reminder that winter work doesn’t care what day it is — the roads still need to be safe.
