He appeared in notable movies such as Corvette Summer (1978), Southern Comfort in 1981, The Thing in 1982, Doctor Detroit in 1983, Runaway Train in 1985, Space Jam in 1996, and The Corner in 2000. On television, he starred as the lead in Just Our Luck and made familiar appearances on popular shows including Punky Brewster, The Sinbad Show, Dave, and Good Morning, Miss Bliss—later known as Saved by the Bell: The Junior High Years.
