I needed more from my CNC, so I sold my Nextwave Shark and upgraded to an Axiom Precision AR8 Pro V5. I loved my Shark, but needed a few things it didn't offer. The Axiom Pro series is full of amazing features, from a beefy gantry, robust linear guide rails, 40 watt stepper motors, and super thick extruded aluminum top.
It's equipped with a strong 3hp water cooled spindle that is completely mounted to the machine with hoses and cables neat and tidy within the wire tracks. The water-cooled system also has its own reservoir and and pump built-in.
I guess now I can "Build Better Stuff".
