Blackout Curtains Completed, Total Darkness Achieved! + 1st Trip Plans

Описание: We had completed our blackout window covers but hadn't come up with a blackout curtain yet, we watched a few videos and it was on the list but it wasn't until I was removing our snow stakes from the driveway that I realized hey this thing bends!

So the concept of using that with a blackout curtain was born, tried some gaffer tape that created too much friction for the curtain, ended up just painting it black. Then I had Stacey sew a seam in the top pocket area to create somewhat of a top fringe piece to sort of cover more of the light coming in.

This worked wonderfully and I ended up using a pencil sharpener to make both ends pointy and secured them with a bit of bowing into the area where the seatbelts come down over your shoulder vs up into that molding area due to the side airbags I wasn't sure if I would mess something up shoving them in that area.

I ended up cutting the snow stake down to 60 3/4 inches that was enough to bow but not be too tight and stay in position easily without any other prop or help.
