"Er Quan Ying Yue"《二泉映月》played on the tiqin 提琴, from Suzhou 苏州市, Jiangsu, China

Описание: "Er Quan Ying Yue"《二泉映月》(The Moon Reflected in the Second Spring), played on the tiqin (提琴) by Fu Jianping (府剑萍) and the Suzhou Gusu Immortals Ensemble (Suzhou Gusu Xian Yuetuan, 苏州姑苏仙乐团), which was established in the late 1980s and comprises musicians from various Daoist temples in the area of Suzhou (苏州市), southern Jiangsu province (江苏省), east-central China, including Xuanmiao Temple (玄妙观).

This is a rare solo performance on the tiqin, an instrument that was formerly used in ensembles accompanying Kunqu (昆曲, Chinese classical opera), the erhu gradually replacing it in this role by the early 20th century.

The tiqin derives from similar instruments from Central Asia and the Middle East, and is the ancestor of the banhu (板胡), a coconut-bodied fiddle used mostly in northern Chinese music, as well as the yehu (椰胡), another coconut-bodied fiddle that is used primarily in southern China and Taiwan.

"Er Quan Ying Yue" was composed by Hua Yanjun (华彦钧, 1893-1950), better known by his nickname Abing (阿炳), a musician from Wuxi who was himself employed as a Daoist musician in his early life.

In 2006 Suzhou Xuanmiao Temple Daoist Music (苏州玄妙观道教音乐) was included in the first batch of 518 traditions inscribed in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China (第一批国家级非物质文化遗产名录) by China's Ministry of Culture (中华人民共和国文化部, known since March 2018 as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 中华人民共和国文化和旅游部). The sub-agencies responsible for maintaining these lists, both under the aegis of the aforementioned ministry, are the Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage (文化部非物质文化遗产司) and the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center (中国非物质文化遗产保护中心, CICHPC).

府剑萍：
1980年进入苏州苏昆剧团（1956年成立，2001年改名江苏省苏州昆剧院，苏州市平江区校场桥路9号），是苏剧、昆剧兼演的剧团，府剑萍初担任苏剧主胡，后担任该团乐队队长。
同时也是苏州吴韵民乐团团长，在民乐团兼奏高胡、板胡、古提琴、笛子、打击等乐器。
二十世纪80年代末苏州姑苏仙乐团成立，由苏州城隍庙（苏州市平江区景德路94号）、玄妙观（苏州市平江区观前街94号）等宫观道士组成，以演奏苏州道教音乐（正一派）而享誉海内外，团员计20 余人，府剑萍也是该团团员之一。

Note that Fu Jianping's name, which is properly written in Chinese as 府剑萍, is on some websites inaccurately spelled 府建萍, with the wrong second character.
