What started off to be the opportunity of a lifetime for Wildlight Entertainment turned into a disaster through a recipe of poor marketing and lack of awareness of potential threats. Namely, the crowded field that is Free-to-Play FPS hero shooters.
In this video, I try to analyze what the EXPECTATIONS of Wildlight were and what these expectations should have been.
At the end I give my take on HIGHGUARD and why, despite my many criticisms, I do enjoy playing the game.
I do not use any of her video content here but I found this video by Laura Fryer, ex-developer of the Gears of War series, super inspiring for creating this video.
