The request was simiple: Access to all records to inspect how much the city of Los Altos paid nonprofit WomenSV. A fake DV charity causing lots of problems for folks in divorce and custody cases.
This video is part of our ongoing investigation of nonprofit WomenSV . A nonprofit that used private donor and taxpayer funds. Not to support survivors but to referr divorce attorneys who engaged in private judge shopping connected to alleged DV victims and divorce cases.
The right to access public records is absolute. Yet when public officials don't want us to see what is in the records, they play lots of games and openly violate the law.
The city council meeting was May 28, 2024 .
City Mayor Jonathan Weinberg is mayor who voted to continue sending public funds to WomenSV.
Vice Mayor Pete Dailey also wanted to send public funds to the shady charity.
Sally Meadows is a disgrace and protecting her politics and friends over the law when managing public funds.
