On 6 of March 2026 Kset K99 Return back into Service after being at Eveleigh for a couple of Month with K92, K98 & K99 was meant to be retired but it was not I’m Not to Sure if K98 was back in service or not.
K98 & K99 they were the Very First Kset Car to ever built in NSW, they were the Ex Newcastle Kset ran in 2 cars run a shuttle Service between Morriset - Newcastle and also run a Early Morning from Central Sydney Terminal to Newcastle. in 2013 they were taken out of Newcastle Service and they put it together make it 4 cars.
K98 was use to K1 & K2, K99 was use to K3 & K4
K98 K1 Carriage C3501 - D4096, K2 C3502 - D4097
K99 K3 Carriage C3503 - D4098, K4 Carriage C3504 - D4099
K98 was originally renumbered K91
