There is an urban legend near Algonquin Park that there is an abandoned steam locomotive deep in the woods. We packed our atv’s with camping and fishing gear, and hit the trails to look for it. First we set up camp on crown land right on a water edge. Fishing was great and weather was perfect for wilderness camping. This atv trail was on a previously used railway built in 1886 and decommissioned and abandoned in 1959.
