Part 4 of the drive from Trondheim to Bodø finally sees us arrive in Bodø itself. Along the way, there are the usual big bridges and long tunnels but crucially, we cross the Arctic Circle line and as this was filmed in June, enter the land of the midnight sun.
It's not just a line on the map, either. Crossing the Arctic Circle via the E6 is marked by passing over Saltfjellet, so there's finally going to be a significant amount of snow to see. Bodø is an interesting city, surrounded by jaggy mountains and views over towards the Lofoten Islands. As I didn't record the city centre, this drive ends with some bonus footage of the spectacular landscape to the north of the city, filmed approaching midnight.
