🌿 The stunning finale to the Cernunnos Rising saga - a revelation that changes everything.
What if nature never left? What if the old gods weren't sleeping, but we just stopped listening? "Always Here" is the powerful conclusion to our 9-song Celtic Rock journey through the legend of the Horned God - revealing that the wild was never conquered, only forgotten.
🎵 What to Expect:
🌟 Epic power ballad structure – Intimate storytelling that builds to soaring rock anthem
🌟 Celtic-rock fusion – Fiddle and acoustic guitar foundation with full electric rock power
🌟 Raspy, emotional vocals – Breathy intimacy in verses, anthemic belt in choruses
🌟 70s rock energy – Classic power ballad trajectory with massive climactic chorus
🌟 Profound lyrical revelation – The realization that nature was always present
📚 The Story Behind "Always Here":
After 8 songs of awakening, battles, and the Wild Hunt's ride, the finale reveals the deepest truth: Cernunnos never truly slept. Nature never left. In every dandelion breaking through sidewalk cracks, every storm, every season's turn, every wild thing that refused to die - the Horned God was always present. We just forgot to listen.
This song isn't about nature's victory over humanity. It's about humanity finally remembering what was always there - the eternal presence running through everything, the wild truth we can never truly escape because it's woven into our very being.
🗣️ A Note on Pronunciation: In this album, Cernunnos is pronounced with a soft "C" (like "Sair-NOO-nos"). While scholarly consensus suggests a hard "C" pronunciation ("Ker-NOO-nos") is more historically accurate, I had already recorded several songs before learning this. Rather than remake the entire album, I chose to maintain consistency with the soft "C" as an artistic interpretation. Some historical sources do support variant pronunciations, but I acknowledge the hard "C" is generally considered correct. No disrespect to Celtic tradition is intended - just a creative choice made early in the album's development!
