Deep within a dark forest where the moonlight never quite touches the ground, a lost girl clutching a faded letter stumbles upon a mansion that defies time. Ichika Hoshino plays the role of the bewildered Villager who seeks shelter from the cold only to be welcomed by an ensemble of strange inhabitants. The stoic Master of the House Toya Aoyagi and his elegant wife Haruka Kiritani invite her into a world of lavish hospitality as they seem eager for a guest to break their eternal monotony. She is entertained by the eccentric Daughter GUMI and the peculiar Twin Dolls consisting of Emu Otori with her dangerously manic cheerfulness and Mafuyu Asahina whose hollow gaze reflects the void of the mansion itself. Under the watchful eyes of the servants KAITO and Miku, a grand party ensues with laughter that masks a sinister truth. However, as the clock strikes and the festivities fade, Ichika awakens not to the morning sun but to the same dark night. Wandering the corridors leads her to a hidden room where she discovers a horrifying realization that time here is broken and tomorrow is a lie. Driven to the brink of insanity by the looping nightmare and the whispers of the shadows, the Villager realizes that if the night will not end naturally then she must force it to stop. With a trembling hand reaching for destruction, she unwittingly triggers the first Bad End and turns the stage into a chaotic tragedy in a desperate bid to return home.
