If you run modern, horror, or sci-fi tabletop RPGs, whether it's Alien RPG, Cyberpunk Red, or Starfinder, you know the struggle of handing out boring PDF handouts or static images when players check a computer.
Terminal Simulator changes that.
This is a standalone tool designed to run alongside your favorite VTT (like Owlbear Rodeo, Foundry, or Roll20) or on a laptop at your physical table. It lets you create interactive computer terminals and interfaces for your players to explore, hack, and unlock—regardless of the setting.
This is a short introduction to the project, covering the basics of the tool and why I built it for tabletop gaming.
