アイスチューリップは、球根を特殊な方法で冷蔵保存して開花時期を調整することにより、真冬に花を咲かせたものです。今年のひたち海浜公園では、「グラスハウス」前に、16品種、約10,000本のアイスチューリップが植栽され、「記念の森レストハウス」の前には、21品種、約5,500本のアイスチューリップが植栽されています。冬枯れの公園で、一足早く春の訪れを告げるように咲くアイスチューリップの彩りをお楽しみください。

Ice tulips are tulips that bloom in the middle of winter by refrigerating the bulbs using a special method to adjust their flowering time. This year at Hitachi Seaside Park, about 10,000 ice tulips of 16 varieties are planted in front of the "Glass House," and about 5,500 ice tulips of 21 varieties are planted in front of the "Memorial Forest Rest House." Enjoy the colors of the ice tulips as they bloom in the winter-bare park, heralding the arrival of spring a little early.
