Описание: Despite RB Izzy Abanikanda’s late scratch from the lineup, the Pitt Panthers took down the No.20 Syracuse Orange at home in a defensive battle, 19-9. Pitt held Syracuse to just 26 yards rushing and 146 total yards. Sophomore RB Rodney Hammond, Jr. led the Panthers’ offense in Abanikanda’s absence, rushing for 124 yards and a touchdown. WR Jared Wayne had another 100+ receiving yard game, racking up 102 over 6 catches. The win puts Pitt one win from bowl eligibility.
