Can we really find microplastics in the seafood we commonly eat? We conducted an experiment to find out!
Microplastics are tiny plastic fragments, each less than 5 mm in diameter. Because of their small size, they are not trapped by sewage treatment facilities and ultimately end up in our oceans and rivers or are released into the sea from decomposing plastic waste.
At present, marine life is heavily affected by microplastic contamination.
We created this video hoping it will help you appreciate the severity of environmental issues caused by plastics.
