In September 2025 Save Giraffes Now embarked on this historic reintroduction and brought six giraffe to Goo Moremi Gorge, a 4,440-acre community-based reserve in Botswana.
All six giraffe were successfully released to Goo Moremi on September 17, 2025, and we are
excited to report they are all doing well in their new home! These giraffe will now be able to live safely as they continue to breed and expand Botswana’s wild giraffe population.
